Using Hootsuite To Schedule Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn Updates

There are many tools available that can help you manage your social media channels and save you time. My personal favorite is Hootsuite a web-based dashboard.

Hootsuite allows me to not only add all of my social media accounts and update them from one central dashboard, but I can also schedule my status updates for some point in the future.

This feature can be tremendously helpful if you want to post on a regular basis but cannot be connected online 24/7 or if you find that you simply forget to make updates.

Other benefits of using Hootsuite include:

-Ability to track key metrics about updates to determine their reach and effectiveness
-Create and maintain Twitter lists based on criteria you choose
-View a feed of all of your contacts updates and activities in one central place
-Free downloads of the Hootsuite app on your smartphone or iPad 2
-Assign multiple team members to your account
-Save frequent searches for keywords related to your brand, industry, or competition
